Safety Auditing

Safety auditing is a management system that can be used to identify areas of non-compliance with current legislation. An audit will examine the current safety management systems together with a tour of the premises to identify physical problems.

The audit will examine a number of main areas of health and safety, details of which are shown below:

Accident Reporting and Investigation
Provision of Statutory Notices
Training
Display Screen Equipment
Fire Prevention and Procedures
Manual Handling
Safety Policy Document
Control of Contractors
Hazardous Substances
General Housekeeping
Safety Signage
Lifting Equipment
Requirements for Risk Assessment
Workplace Transport
Welfare Arrangements
Workplace Environment
Defect Reporting

The audit report will contain an action plan showing recommendations and the legislation where non-compliance has occurred.

The audit will be scored to enable you to undertake a year-on-year evaluation of progress.
